Come enjoy the "Best of Class" 2008 Montemaggiore Syrah at the public tasting of world's largest competition of American wines! Along with tasting wines from hundreds of other wineries, you can taste hand-crafted creations from premier artisan food purveyors of breads, olive oils, cheeses, and desserts, along with fabulous creations from Bay Area restaurants. The Wine Pairing Challenge

3–6pm
Explore new food and wine pairings by joining us for Montemaggiore's 2nd Annual Wine Pairing Challenge. You bring a dish to share that you think pairs well with a particular Montemaggiore wine: 3Divas, Rosé, Syrah or Nobile—and we'll provide the wine! Everyone will taste everyone else's dish and rate their favorite pairings. The results will be tallied, and prizes will be awarded for the best pairing with each wine, along with the best overall. At the Grand Tasting, you can sample over 500 Rhône-varietal wines from over 100 American wineries. Vincent will be pouring a selection of Montemaggiore Syrahs along with the inaugural release of our Syrafina so you can really taste our distinctive terroir. Wine Club Pickup

Wine Club members and their guests are invited to pick up their Spring Wine Club Selection and celebrate the release of the 2009 Paolo's Vineyard Syrah and 2009 Syrafina. We'll also be opening some prior vintages so you can taste how well Montemaggiore wines age. Although there is no fee for the event, please RSVP.
Dry Creek Valley Passport

Enjoy the pristine and unspoiled beauty of Dry Creek Valley for the annual fun-filled Passport weekend! While Montemaggiore does not officially participate in Passport because of our secluded spot, we are hosting several smaller events that weekend:
- Breakfast on Saturday: Join Vincent & Lise at 9:30am for an early morning breakfast to kick off the weekend. If you and your friends would like to drop by prior to the official open of Passport wineries, we'll have coffee and pastries at our house to start off your day. Vincent will be pouring coffee and Lise will be pouring wine—it's your choice! To RSVP for the breakfast, please send us an e-mail.
- Vineyard Tour on Sunday: Passport holders can join Vincent at 9:30am for a tour of our mountainside vineyards to learn about growing award winning Syrah while farming organically and biodynamically. You'll also have a chance to taste a small selection of our elegant estate wines. No RSVP required.
