Montemaggiore specializes in Syrah because it's our favorite varietal—but above all, our terroir yields Syrah grapes with exceptional flavors! Due to our focus on a single varietal, we can research, experiment, and perfect the growing and vinification of Syrah to bring you world-class wines.
We produce two wines every year, a Syrah and a Cabernet-Syrah blend, and in exceptional vintages a limited release Reserve Syrah. In recent years we have also been making a small amount of Syrah Rosé, and new with the 2009 vintage is our white Rhône blend called 3Divas. Below you will find reviews, awards, and purchase information on each of Montemaggiore's wines.
- New releases represent our most recent and exciting introductions and may only be available directly from us.
- Currently released wines are in general retail circulation, and should be available in wine shops and restaurants in Northern California.
- Library wines are no longer in circulation although limited amounts of some wines are available to Wine Club members.

The latest release of our flagship wine epitomizes elegance, subtlety, and sophistication. Black cherry, cocoa and pepper on the nose, complemented by subtle spices on the full palate, ending with a smooth-as-silk finish. 450 cases produced.

This classic white Rhône blend of Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne blend will have you singing its praises. Enough personality to serve as an aperitif, yet pairs well with a wide variety of meals. Only 200 cases produced.

Carrying enough complexity to please the most discerning red wine drinkers, this dry Syrah rosé is endlessly versatile and classically refreshing. It's vibrant ruby color hints at its gorgeous strawberry and plum aromas. Only 55 cases produced.
